Fountains soon to adorn Suchitra Circle
Suchitra Circle: GHMC Quthbullapur officials have planned to give the circle a fine artistic look by using modern techniques. B Lalsingh, Deputy Executive Engineer, Quthbullapur Circle-25 GHMC, said that they are building two fountains at Suchitra Circle.The overall look and atmosphere of a publicly used area will give the residents a greater downtown feel. The model of the artistic sculpture is of magical tea kettle in one corner of the street and another model is an Italian fountain whose works are yet to start.
The design of the magical tea kettle will be in polyurethane foam with three coat fiber layer and the water resists coat with artistic flower painting on the kettle with detailed design. The dimension of the basement is 6 ft in diameter and 5 ft height. The sculpture of teacup and saucer is 3.5 ft diameter and 4 ft height with detailed painting work on it which will have a pond foundation with motor pump fitting for water circulation for creating water fountain with bubbling inside with LED lighting fitting in the kettle.
Also around the fountain plantation will be done and also it will be encircled with bamboo railing work for boundary purpose( approx 150 ft). The other one is an Italian fountain with polyurethane foam with fiber coating, water-resistant coating in marble finish total underground plumbing with water motor will be install and also LED lights.The budget for this project is around Rs 6.48 lakh. The works started on January 15 and would be completed by the end of February, officials said.
