Union budget benefits all sectors: Kantha Rao

Kukatpally: BJP Medchal president Madhavaram Kantha Rao has said the budget allocation by the Central government would benefit all sectors of people including the aged, women, farmers, the poor and the average income groups. He was speaking to media at BJP office in Kukatpally. He said free electricity and eight lakh new LPG connections would be provided.

“Tax evasion to those having annual income less than Rs 5 lakh is laudable. Increasing the tax-free gratuity limit from existing Rs 10 lakh to Rs 30 lakh is a welcome move. Rs 6,000 would be given in three phases to farmer having land less than five acres,” he added. Kantha Rao claimed that the budget had been allocated keeping people’s benefit in mind and not poll oriented.
