AISF flays Centre for neglecting education sector
Parigi: All India Student Federation (AISF) district president S Chennaiah said that the union government has neglected education sector in the recent interim budget after allocating 3.2 per cent funds. He was addressing constituency level activists meeting here on Tuesday. Chennaiah alleged that the BJP government was making efforts to saffronise education in universities.
He criticised the State government for failing to launch mid-day meal for Intermediate students. Chennaiah said AISF activists would lay siege to Parliament on Feb 18 in protest against the State and Central government’s educational polices. He called upon the people to make the protest success. AISF district vice president Afroz, division secretary Srisailam, Ramesh and others were present.
