Saraswati examines lands for service road

Tarnaka: Local Corporator Alakunta Saraswati, along with GHMC town planning and engineering and Transco officials, has examined the lands suitable for the service road to be laid as part of the Tarnaka-Lalapet road-widening works. The corporator and officials decided to take up the construction of a new temple in Indira Nagar- Lakshmi Nagar area, as the existing shrine falls within the road-widening works. 

Saraswati said that immediate steps would be taken to pay off compensations to those land owners from whom the lands would be acquired for the laying of the service road. She appealed to the people to cooperate with the development works taken up for their benefit. Only then, the work will be completed in time, she said.
