Turn Raheja Mindspace into green junction

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar on Tuesday directed the GHMC Zonal Commissioner, Hari Chandana Dasari to develop Raheja Mindspace Junction and nearby areas into a green zone. He said the junction should have aesthetic appeal with classical Kakatiya theme.

Later, Arvind Kumar visited the area near the Kokapet tank, wherein a gated community has been constructed. He instructed the officials to find out whether there was any encroachment in the tank and submit a detailed report on the project.Chief Engineer B L N Reddy and Director of Planning Balakrishna were also present.Arvind Kumar directed the officials to remove encroachments on the National Highway 44. 

GHMC officials informed that the flyover construction works would be taken up in May 2019 after taking up national highway extension works and would be completed in a year. The officials further said that works on the Bahadurpura flyover were grounded with an estimated cost of Rs 132 crore. Some properties have to be acquired for this project.
