Free bus services launched in Vemulawada
Vemulawada: Former Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy accompanied by local MLA Chennamneni Ramesh Babu inaugurated the free bus service to the famous Sri Raja Rajeshwari Swamy temple, in Vemulawada on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, N Narasimha Reddy said thousands of devotees from all over the State and from neighbouring states also visit Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada to offer prayers to Lord Shiva on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. Keeping in view of this, the government every year provides free bus services to the devotees, which they should utilise, he appealed.
In united Andhra Pradesh, the rulers neglected temples and did not take any steps for the development of several famous temples present in Telangana region. But Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is determined for the development of temples present in the Telangana State and is sanctioning crores of rupees for their development.
The CM had sanctioned Rs 400 crores funds for the development of Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple and the developmental works are
in progress with an investment of Rs 200 crores. Later, former Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy along with MLA Ch Ramesh inaugurated the e-ticketing counter on the temple premises.
