GSI to conduct training sessions

Musheerabad: Deputy director of Geological Survey of India (GSI) Ch Venkateshwar Rao said that GSI would provide ‘Bhuvi Samwad’ training sessions, a Central government sponsored training programme, to geology students in all the Telangana Universities where geology is part of their curriculum. 

He was speaking at a press conference held at CGO Towers, a Central government building, Secunderabad on Thursday. He said that GSI training institute was started in 1976 with an objective to provide training on Geology. The training institute has been conducting awareness training programmes in various states and has been striving to improve geological skills among students. He urged the students to avail the opportunity.
