Mini Ravindra Bharathi works on track
Miryalaguda (Nalgonda): District Collector Gaurav Uppal has ordered the officials concerned to complete the works of mini Ravindra Bharathi at the earliest. On Thursday, along with municipal engineers and contractor, the Collector examined the ongoing works of mini Ravindra Bharathi and inquired about the progress of works of the building.
Officials explained that works of the building which is going to come up with Rs. 6.30 crores were half way through and works worth Rs 3.5 crore have been completed and the amount of Rs 2.25 crore was paid to the contractor.
Officials also explained about the status of underground drainage works, water treatment plant and water pipeline works being carried out in the town under Mission Bhagiratha Collector examined sewerage treatment plant-2 works at Ramnagar Bandam and water tanks at market yard and industrial area in the town.
Miryalaguda Municipal Commissioner Satti Babu, Nalgonda Municipal Executive Engineer K Venkateshwarlu and local municipal officials accompanied the Collector during his visit to Miryalaguda.
