City library committee holds budget meet

Hyderabad: City Library Committee discussed the Budget Proposals for 2019-20 at a meeting held at City Central Library here on Friday. The meeting saw several resolutions including those for development of 17 libraries at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore and increasing allocation for 83 libraries. 

The chairperson of Hyderabad Library Association, Prasanna Rammurthy, said that the meeting had accepted proposals for developing all the libraries in the city. Security arrangements would also be made at the main libraries in the city, he said. Those who participated in the meeting included members Mamatha Santhosh Gupta, Penta Reddy, Srinivas, Vasudev and others.
