CM relief fund cheques distributed

 Khammam: Never before the rulers in the State had responded to the misery of poor and downtrodden as much promptly as the TRS government has, Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said. Speaking at a programme here on Sunday, the MP said that the State government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been responding positively and providing monitory assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the poor who are suffering from ill-health. “The assistance is being provided to those in need irrespective of their political affiliation. Financial assistance to the tune of Rs 1.25 crore was provided to as many as 2,500 people towards their healthcare,” Reddy said.

Later, Reddy distributed cheques worth around Rs 72 lakh to 154 persons. The MP participated in the birthday celebration of his close relative and his camp office in-charge Tumburu Dayakar Reddy. On the occasion, Kotha Kacharam Sarpanch and Upa Sarpanch Rangu Satyanarayana and Y Sailaja along with others joined the TRS party.
