Durajpally Jatara from Feb 24

 Suryapet: Superintendent of Police R Venkateshwarlu has inspected the arrangements for biennial Durajpally Jatara on the hillock  on Sunday. Speaking to the media after having the darshan of Lingamanthula Swamy (Lord Shiva), he informed that all set for Distipuja to be carried out on Sunday late night.
      
Barricades, ropes were put up for the convenience of devotees and traffic would be diverted on Jatara days, he added. Apart from police, CCTV cameras were arranged on the hillock and also down the hill to avoid thefts during the Jatara from February 24 to 28, he added. Circle Inspector Venkateshwar Reddy, Sub-inspectors Naresh, Praveen, Srinivas and Mahesh accompanied the SP.
