Free medicare to poor Brahmins
Musheerabad: TRS official spokesperson Dr Venugopala Chary inaugurated Brahmin Hospital located at Chikkadpally Papaiah Estate, which provides free medical services to poor Brahmins, on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Venugopala Chary lauded the efforts of Giri Prasad Sharma, president of Bharatha Brahmin Sansthan, for initiating various Brahmin welfare programmes and providing free medical services.
He said that the Telangana government had initiated various welfare programmes for poor Brahmins and assured them to continue their efforts for their welfare. Giri Prasad Sharma said that their organisation was issuing health cards to poor Brahmins. He said that the eligible candidates would be selected from among the applicants and would be issued health cards.
The Sansthan would provide free homeo and allopathic treatment to poor Brahmins. A General Physician, Gynecologist and other specialists would be made available for free medical consultation from 6 pm to 9 pm every day, he said. He appealed poor Brahmins irrespective of region avail the opportunity.
