Wedding & festival collections expo

A six-day wedding and festival collections exhibition-cum-sale was inaugurated at by Crafts and Weavers Artisans Welfare Association President Koneti Ramarao and Organizer Saber Ali Swagat Function Hall at Kothapet on February 8. According to exhibition organiser Md Akbar Ali, society president K Rama Rao, the expo features original hand-made products like ikat sarees, dress materials, and silk and cotton textiles. The spread is huge as more than 80 designers are showcasing their vivid designs and products.

At the exhibition, one can find Uppada sarees, Chandra silk sarees, Kalamkari, Venkatagiri, Pochampally silk sarees, Rajasthan cotton sarees, Handblock print sarees, Bhagalpur silk, Bengal cotton, Kashmir silk sarees, Lucknow chikan sarees, Banaras sarees, Kanta work sarees, designer suits, designer blouses, designer tops, Jaipur's bedsheets etc. Apart from textiles, there are Jaipur black bangles, stone jewellery, one gram gold jewellary, Kondapalli toys etc.
