Rakesh Reddy reveals crucial details in NRI’s murder case

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police took two accused in NRI Chigurupati Jayaram’s murder case, Rakesh Reddy and his aide Srinivas, into their custody on Wednesday. Later, they shifted them to Banjara Hills ACP office from Chanchalguda Jail.

According to West Zone DCP A R Srinivas, during their interrogation they found that Rakesh Reddy kept the dead body of Jayaram in his car dickey and travelled in the city. On Januray 31, 2019, at 4 pm he went to Nallakunta Police station.

Reportedly he accepted that he called up Nallakunta Circle Inspector Srinivas 13 times on phone. He also told that after killing Jayaram, he spoke to Ibrahimpatnam ACP Malla Reddy and tried to pass it as a road accident.

He also confessed that after coming to Hyderabad by bus he left to Goa with Rs 6 lakh given by Jayaram and Rs 4 lakh of his own and played casino and returned to Hyderabad on February 3 by flight.
