Congress will sweep Lok Sabha elections: DCC president Katakam Mruthyunjayam
Karimnagar: The Congress party is going to win coming up Lok Sabha elections with bumper majority and is going to form the government at the Centre, stated District Congress Committee (DCC) president Katakam Mruthyunjayam on Thursday.
He was addressing the media after being appointed as DCC president. He said that in three months Congress is going to form government at the Centre after defeating BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.
People across the country are opposing the BJP for adopting anti-people's policies. The BJP government deceived the people in the name of reforms. People suffered a lot because of demonetisation and GST.
On question of the party’s prospect in the Lok Sabha polls, after its drubbing in the recent Assembly elections, he quipped There is no comparison between the two. The Congress party is going to win the elections with bumper majority and the people would see that the AICC president Rahul Gandhi in a new role as Prime Minister.
The DCC president said that the party will contest the upcoming MLC elections the list of aspirants will be handed over to the party high command for consideration and he would take decision as early as possible. The Congress party leaders M Praveen, Kishan Patel and Ch Buchhi Reddy were present in the press meet.
