2 kids drown in pit filled with water

 Warangal: Two children, including a girl, drowned in a pit filled with water at Mylaram village under Rayaparthy mandal in Warangal Rural district late on Thursday night. 

The deceased were identified as Siluveru Sakrutha (6) and Lakkam Arjun (8). According to the police, the pit, which was filled with water, was dug for constructing a toilet and was left abandoned for some time. 

The children who were playing around the pit fell into it accidentally on Thursday night. When the children did not return home late in the night, their parents started searching for them. The villagers also joined them and searched for the boys. Finally, they found them dead in the pit behind a house.
