Green signal soon for 2BHK houses
Musheerabad: GHMC Zonal Commissioner Raghu Prasad said that the pending proposals for the construction of double bed room houses for Bhagath Singh Basti in Ramnagar may be cleared soon. He visited the slum along with other officials on the request of GHMC standing committee member V Srinivas Reddy on Friday. V Srinivas Reddy, CE Suresh, housing board officials Das Reddy, Raghu and DMC Uma Prakash accompanied him during the visit.
Later, he inspected the ongoing construction of double-bed room houses at the slum.Speaking on the occasion, Raghu Prasad said that construction of more houses for slum residents would be taken to the notice of the GHMC commissioner. Focus would also be laid on the pending proposals and would strive for its clearance, he said. He instructed the housing board officials to expedite the ongoing construction works.
Srinivas Reddy said that the land survey for double bed room houses for slum dwellers was done with the efforts of the former minister Naini Narsimha Reddy and the proposals are pending with the collector. “Once the proposals are cleared, we would ensure that the funds required for the constructions are released at the earliest with the support of the CM KCR and MLA KTR,” he said.
