Musheerabad: Rajyadhikara Party founder-president VNR Naragoni on Sunday alleged that the State administration has become a one-party rule by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao favouring the rich, landlords and industrialists. ‘It appears that MLAs and MPs have become silent as if that they are in a coma’.

Addressing a discussion on ‘political power for bahujans’, organised in Sundayya Vignana Kendram, in which prominent representatives of several political parties and caste associations participated, he expressed distress over the lack of representation in the State Assembly to Bahujans. ‘They have been reduced to political slaves’, he alleged.

He accused the TRS government of ‘cheating’ BCs by reducing their quota in the local body poll, by promising reservations to Muslims. The Rythu Bandhu scheme is only for namesake, as it is intended to benefit the seven per cent affluent sections. The scheme is providing relief from the treasury of the taxpayers’ money to crorepathis’.

Naragoni questioned KCR as to what he had ushered in after calling for revolutionary changes in the country’s political set-up. ‘His rule by one or two high castes is the same as witnessed during the Congress regime, without any basic change’, he asserted.‘Did BCs get 50 per cent seats in the Assembly as also Muslims get according to their population’, he questioned.

He announced that the party would contest the Lok Sabha elections. Among those present were Saleem Pasha, V Reddappa, Narender, P Janardhan, Prashanth Yadav, Khaleel and Rehman.
