Fervour marks Jatara

Medaram (Mulugu): Devotees in large numbers offered prayers to tribal deities Sammakka and Saralamma here on Thursday, the second day of the four-day tribal fair. As part of the rituals, the priests brought deity Sammakka to the altar from Chilakalagutta hillocks. It may be mentioned here that Saralamma was brought to altars on Wednesday.
