LB Nagar: The Telangana Advocates’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) on Friday demanded allocation of Rs 50 crore for the welfare of advocates every year, as is being done by the Delhi government.
Convener of JAC, Puligari Govardhan Reddy told the press persons at Ranga Reddy court complex here that the interest on the Rs 100 crore fund being provided by the TRS government was not enough to the issuance of health cards.
Reddy called for allocation by the State government of Rs 50 crore for the welfare of advocates, thus follow the example set by the AAP government in Delhi.
