PDSU demands release of OU mess dues

Osmania University: The Progressive Democratic Students’ Union (PDSU) demanded the release of Osmania University’s mess dues. Under the leadership of PDSU vice-president Nageshwara Rao, the members of the union registered their protest at the Arts College campus on Friday. He demanded the payment of Rs 3,000 to the post-graduate students and Rs 8,000 to research scholars. He urged the state government to include the due amounts in the State budget.
He also demanded that the government make a budget provision of Rs 14 crore to pay the mess dues, as it did in the past to pay Rs.7 crore. Among those who accompanied the PDSU leader were Sumanth, Rajesh, Babu, Shyam Sundar, Vikas, Mukesh, Madhu and Sai.
