Three Ministers take charge

Hyderabad: Excise and Prohibition Minister V Srinivas Goud has predicted that  Chief Minister and TRS president K Chandrashekar Rao  will  play a key role in national politics after Lok Sabha elections.  He assumed charge at his chambers in the Secretariat on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said KCR’s development model is a role model for the entire country and many States already emulated the schemes and programmes implemented  by the Telangana State government.

 Stating that he would strive to achieve the targets set by the government in liquor sales and increase the revenues,  Goud said the measures would also be taken to reduce  the  liquor consumption through awareness campaign.Labour Minister takes charge: Labour and Women and Child Welfare Minister Ch Malla Reddy  and Welfare Minister K Eshwar also  assumed charge at their chambers in the Secretariat. 

Malla Reddy thanked KCR  for reposing faith in him by inducing him into Cabinet. “ I will work hard to implement all the welfare schemes meant for the workforce,” he said. Eshwar said his  main objective is to ensure that all welfare schemes reach the needy and deserved. The minister said he would hold a review  meeting with BC, SC and ST Welfare departments  and chalk out an action plan for the effective enforcement of programmes in the new financial year.
