CM can solve Kashmir, Ayodhya issues: Narsaiah Goud
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP Boora Narsaiah Goud on Wednesday said that his party would solve the Ram Mandir issue and Kashmir issue if it gets 16 seats from the State. The TRS MP was addressing a press conference to welcome the attacks taken up by government of India on the terrorist camps in Kashmir. Stating that the Congress party was the root cause for the problems like Kashmir, Narsaiah Goud said that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru made this issue as cancer.
He said that there was close link between Kashmir and Telangana and for both these Nehru was the main reason. “Telangana was merged into India because of Patel’s (Vallabh Bhai Patel) efficiency otherwise Telangana would have been burning like Kashmir. The Congress party goes down to any level for political benefits,” Narsaiah Goud said.
The TRS leader said that a visionary leader like Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao can solve the Kashmir issue. He can also solve the Ayodhya Ram Mandir issue. “Our party chief can solve the Ram Mandir issue. The party can make the people who are opposing, to perform Bhoomi pooja and open the temple,” said the TRS leader.
Goud further said that Telangana would become ‘Congress mukt’ after the Lok Sabha elections. What the BJP could not do, the TRS would make it do in coming Lok Sabha elections, he added. He alleged that the Congress and the BJP had not contributed anything for the interest of people of Telangana. It was only the TRS MPs, who fought against NDA government for various projects like rail network, national highways, permissions for the Kaleshwaram project etc.
All these were possible because of TRS MPs putting pressure on the NDA government. He said that the TRS MPs never sought help for individual benefits. The earlier Congress MPs always lobbied for the contracts. He claimed that people of the State would bless TRS in the coming elections. MLC M Sreenivas Reddy said that the terrorist attack on Pulwama was nothing but an attack on the country.
“We welcome the Air Force personnel for taking up attacks on the terrorist camps. The Centre should take steps to isolate Pakistan in the world and find all possible ways to solve the Kashmir issue,” said Reddy.
