Curbs on protests from March 1 to 31

 Medak: District Superintendent of Police Chandana Deepthi said the Police Act 30, 30(A) 1861 would be in force from March 1 to 31. Programmes like dharnas, rasta rokos, protests, rallies, public meeting etc., would not be allowed without prior permission from the police department, she said. She called upon people, and their representatives and leaders of various associations to extend cooperation.
