New political party comes into being

 Somajiguda: A new political party ‘Indian Praja Congress’ was launched here on February 28. The founder and president, K B Sridhar, said that the goals of the party were for overall progress of India and target welfare of poor people. The party was committed to national integration, fight against corruption, eradication of illiteracy, provision of education for all, ensuring basic hygiene and health care for everyone, elimination of poverty and prohibition of cow slaughter and supply of alcohol etc.
