Over 16k Inter students skip exam

Hyderabad: Nearly 16,644 students have skipped the Intermediate Public Examination on Thursday. According to the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), it conducted the second year intermediate examinations in Telugu, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, French, Kannada and Marathi paper-II.
Out of a total of 4,27,553 students registered, only 4,10,909 students took the examinations. Also, only one case of malpractice was reported from Khammam, said TSBIE Secretary Dr A Ashok. He said observers from the Board were sent to Suryapet, Nalgonda, Janagaon and Hyderabad districts and the examinations were conducted smoothly without any incident, he added.
