Peddagattu temple pockets 21 lakh as hundi collection

Suryapet: After the conclusion of five-day biennial famous  Peddagattu Jatara, the temple hundi collection was calculated  on Friday. According to officials, over Rs 21 lakh cash, 3 gm of gold, 760 gm of silver and 11 American dollars was collected during the Jatara.

Officials said as many as 20 lakh devotees from over Telangana, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Maharashtra States attended the Jatara celebrations. Officials of the district administration, police department, Endowments department and temple committee jointly worked together and made the Jatara a grand success.
