People celebrate Abhinandan’s release
Mahbubnagar: With Pakistan releasing Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman on Friday, a large number people along with members of political parties and students organisations organised rallies and bursted crackers in joy at a programme organised at Telangana Chowrasta on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, CPI Mahbubnagar district secretary Paramesh Goud said, “Our Indian Army has taught a befitting lesson to the Pakistan. Under intense international pressure, the Pakistan government had no other option but to release our brave fighter pilot Abhinandan.
He is a true hero who had exhibited courage and valour and bravely fought and downed the Pakistan’s F-16 fighter jets. And even though he was caught by the Pakistanis, he did not reveal the secrets of his mission to the enemies. This is a great movement and we are happy to see the release of our brave hero.”
The people along with student’s organisations across erstwhile Mahbubnagar and also in Nagarkurnool, Achampet, Gadwal and Wanaparthy conducted victory rallies and expressed their happiness by bursting crackers and raised anti-Pakistan slogans for giving a safe haven for terrorists.
