Shiva chanting rends air at Chilkur temple
Moinabad: Chevella legislator Kale Yadaiah visited Chilkur Balaji Temple on the occasion of Shivaratri on Monday. The chief priest Rangarajan explained the relevance in celebrating the festival at the Balaji Temple. As they witnessed a heavy rush of devotees, the temple authorities made special arrangements with barricades, drinking water and tents in front of the temples to provide some relief to the visitors from summer heat. The premises reverberated with ‘Aumkara’ chanting by the devotees. Temple’s Trust Board members advised them to make arrangements without inconvenience to the devotees. They also advised them to erect tents and provide drinking water to give relief to the people from summer. They also asked them to maintain cleanliness in the temple premises. TRS leader Govardhan Reddy, TRS mandal president Vijayender Reddy and sarpanch Boggula Jagadishwar were present.
