Haj officer selections to commence today

 Nampally: Selection of Assistant Haj Officers and Haj Assistants for Haj-2019 would be starting from Tuesday and would continue up to March 14, including on Sundays and Second Saturday, at the Haj House in Nampally.

This was announced by Telangana State Haj Committee Chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan and Special officer Prof SA Shukoor on Monday.

It is for the second time that interviews are being held in Hyderabad. "A six-member delegation consisting of officers from Ministry of Minorities Affairs and Haj Committee of India would interview the candidates hailing from the states of  Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshwadweep.” 

Around 540 candidates would participate in the interviews including 90 for the post of Assistant Haj Officer and 450 for the post of Haj Assistant, they said.
