Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana launched

 Vikarabad: District Collector Aisha Masrat Khanam said that Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana would be helpful to unorganised sector labours in their old age. She launched the scheme from collectorate here on Tuesday.

Construction workers, agriculture workers, auto drivers and others should avail the scheme. Premium would be decided depending on age, said the Collector.

She directed officials concerned to create awareness among workers to join the scheme. The Collector handed over ID cards to the beneficiaries.

PM Shram Yogi Mandhan Yojana District nodal officer B Madhusudhana Chary, EPF enforcement officer BVS Manikyal Rao, District Assistant Labour Department Commissioner Chandrashekar Goud and others were present.
