Villagers mourn dentist’s death in Australia
Mahbubnagar: A woman dentist from Gurukunta village of Nawabpet mandal in Mahbubnagar district was reportedly murdered in Australia. With the news spreading in the village, the villagers and close relatives of the deceased woman from Gurukunta expressed grief on Wednesday.
According to sources, Preethi Reddy, a dentist, daughter of Narshimha Reddy and Renuka, was reportedly killed in Australia. It is said that Narasimha Reddy who had left his village in 1996 has three brothers. While Narasimha Reddy along with his family settled in Australia, among the other three brothers, one is settled in Mahbubnagar, the other is settled in Hyderabad and the third one is settled in America.
The relatives and the villagers who are close to their family expressed grief and shock at the killing of Preethi. The family members are awaiting the dead body of the deceased doctor. “It is a shocking news as our beloved family member was killed in Australia.
Narasimha Reddy’s family is the first family from our village which had gone to Australia and settled there. Even though they are settled in Australia, they are always in touch with the villagers and their extended family members in the village,” said a grieving resident of Gurukunta village.
