Student dies while boarding a running bus

Nizamabad: Madhan, studying engineering fourth year at Kshatriya College, died while trying to board a running bus at Kanteshwar on Thursday.

Students staged a protest in front of Nizamabad bus station, blaming RTC officials’ negligence for the accident. The police pacified the students.

Vidyarthi Udyama Vedika district president Lal Singh and NSUI district general secretary Dattadri were among the protesters. The students stated that the RTC officials assured Rs 25 lakh compensation to the deceased family.
