Adilabad: In a bid to help the Adivasi youth get employment in the upcoming police recruitment, the Adilabad police decided to start exclusive coaching centres for them.

Speaking at a meeting in which the police distributed blankets to poor tribals at Keslapur under Indravelli mandal on Friday, the Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier said that they have plans to run coaching classes for the tribal youth so that they could get jobs in large numbers in the police department.

Urging the people not to believe in rumours, the SP told the villagers to approach the police if they have any problem instead of getting agitated. Trainee IAS officer Gopi said that the administration is making all arrangements to make Keslapur jatara a huge success.

DSP N Venkatesh, special branch DSP A Vishwa Prasad and inspector D Bhoomaiah were among others present.
