Police distribute blankets, cricket kits
Mancherial: Ramagundam Commissioner of Police Vikram Jeet Duggal on Thursday distributed blankets to senior citizens and cricket kits to youth of Kolamguda village in Jannaram mandal. The commissionarate has adopted the village four years ago.
Speaking on the occasion, Duggal appreciated SLATE School management, teachers and students for helping the police department in the upliftment of tribals in the village. He asked the village elders, leaders and people to send their wards to school while explaining the significance of education. “Lack of road transport is one of the main problems in the village. Free training for jobs, including police and army recruitment, will be provided to students and youth,” he added.
The Commissioner has assured the villagers to find a solution for all problems in the village. Later, he had community lunch with the villagers. Mancherial ACP Ghouse Baba, CI Pratap, Ramagundam CI (Traffic) Buddha Swamy, SI Tajuddin, SLATE School management, teachers and students and Tudumdebba leaders were present.
