Rajanna temple hundi collects 81 lakh in 5 days

Vemulawada (Rajanna-Sircilla): Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada earned revenue of Rs 81.13 lakh cash in the ‘hundi’ collections, which was counted on Tuesday, according to a statement from the temple authorities.
The temple authorities also found 78 grams of gold and 7.700 kgs of silver in hundi. It’s learnt that above earnings are of just five days. The temple has been witnessing a huge rush since last week with devotees heading to Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma jatara. It may be noted here that as a tradition, the devotees offer prayers at Vemulawada.
