Tech Mahindra to set up its centre in Warangal
Warangal: Tech Mahindra Limited, an Indian multinational information technology services provider is going to set up its centre soon in Warangal. The news was shared by IT and Urban Development Minister K Taraka Rama Rao on Thursday on his twitter handle.
According to the Minister, Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra has consented to set Tech Mahindra Centre at IT Park in Warangal. KTR participated in a discussion on ‘Leveraging Digital to Deliver Value to Society’, and a round-table meeting on ‘Promoting Design in India’ organised by Indian government’s Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) at World Economic Forum conference in Davos.
The Minister met Mahindra Group Chairman Mahindra and its CEO and MD CP Gurnani on the side lines of the conference and discussed the matter. The Minister posted two photos of his meeting with the Mahindra Group officials on twitter.
He thanked Anand Mahindra and Gurnani for agreeing to setup a Tech Mahindra centre in Warangal. Responding to the post, Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation Mayor N Narender thanked Minister KTR for his initiative of holding talks with Mahindra Group for setting up its centre here.
“It is a good development in terms of ensuring job opportunities in IT sector for the youth in Warangal, which is a fast-developing city in Telangana. I also thank Mahindra Group for coming forward to set up the centre,” the Mayor said.
