Minister participates in Chandi Yagam
Luxettipet: “Telangana State, a result of the sacrifices by several people, is on the high road towards Bangaru Telangana with the timely onset of monsoons, following Ayuta Chandi Yagam performed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao,” stated Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy.
The Minister participated in the three-day Sata Rudra Sahita Chandi Yagam here on Monday. Along with local MLA Diwakar Rao, he prayed the Goddess for timely rains and financial prosperity and performed special pujas.
The youngest and the 29th Telangana State was ranked number one in the implementation of welfare schemes in the country on account of the foresight of the Chief Minister, he stated. There would be no drinking water problem in Telangana provided the Medigadda project completes by this June. There would be enough water in Mallanna Sagar, Sriram Sagar and Yellampalli projects.
The Chief Minister fixed April 18 as the date for distribution of input subsidy of Rs 4,000 per acre among the farmers. Noticing a perceptible increase in the spiritual quotient among the people in the State with the advent of Telangana, he attributed it to the Chief Minister insisting on celebrating all festivals across the State.
