Warangal Urban collectorate shifted to Julaiwada
Hanamkonda: District in-charge Collector S Dayanand on Monday inaugurated the new premises of Warangal Urban district collectorate. As the existing 131-year-old collectorate building was being dismantled for the construction of new integrated collectorate complex in its place, the Collector’s office was temporarily shifted to Social Welfare Boys Hostel at Julaiwada in Hanamkonda.
Speaking on the occasion, the in-charge Collector said the works related to the new collectorate building have been launched and ground-level works were going on. The construction was expected to be completed within a years’ time and after that all the government offices would be run under one roof.
Different offices in the old collectotate premises were shifted to different locations and the shifting of material and furniture of the district collector’s office was underway. At the new premises rooms for the collector, joint-collector and section officers’ record rooms were already set up.
The public would soon be informed about the place, where the weekly meeting of grievance cell, he added. District revenue officer David, administrative officer Renuka, I&PR deputy director DS Jagan and others were present.
