CPM calls for use of social media

Hanamkonda: Taking note of the social media’s key role in present day politics, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has decided to make full use of it in propagandising their party’s upcoming 22nd All India Maha Sabha to be held in Hyderabad from April 18 to 22.

Speaking at a meeting here on Sunday, CPM State Committee member B Jagadish urged the party cadre to take up social networking sites to spread information about the Maha Sabha and the public meeting at Parade Grounds on April 22.

He said that it’s time for the party cadres to gird up and raise their voice against the BJP government which trying to split the country on communal lines. “The BJP government which promised two crore jobs in its election manifesto totally failed to fulfil it,” he said.

The graph of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was coming down, he said, pointing to the demonetisation, GST and attacks against dalits and minorities.CPM social media district convener Godugu Venkat, U Nageshwar Rao, J Srinivas, D Tirupathi, M Sampath, Prathap Marks, A Venkanna, P Ramesh, M Sathish, N Kishore and D Naresh were among others present.
