Eagle eye on PDS supplies Our Bureau

Sircilla: In order to plug the loopholes in the supply chain of the public distribution system (PDS), District Collector Krishna Bhaskar has on Friday inaugurated a Command and Control Centre here.“Sitting in the Centre, we can monitor mandal level stock (MLS) points in Sircilla and Vemulawada,” Krishna Bhaskar said.
 
The IP-based 2 Mega Pixel cameras allow the authorities to supervise and monitor the movement of Stage-1 and 2 vehicles, he said, stating that the latest system will prevent diversion of PDS rice and other essential commodities. Joint Collector Yasmeen Basha, RDO Panduranga and civil supplies officer Padma were among others present.
