Complete land acquisition works for NH construction

Karimnagar: State Chief Secretary SK Joshi ordered all the district collectors to complete land acquisition works required for the construction of national highways, sanctioned by the Central government.

He held a review meeting with the district collectors to discuss the progress of various works and projects, through video conference from Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Joshi ordered the collectors to complete Aadhaar seeding along with digital signatures of tahsildars related to updation of land record works as early as possible.

20 lakh pattadar pass books were already transported to districts. If any corrections are to be made, send the pass books immediately after comparing them with the original records, he directed.

The collectors were ordered to identify Wakf Board lands for the construction of minority gurukul residential schools. The government is giving much priority to the Minorities and is allotted about Rs 2,000 crores in the budget along with establishing about 204 Minority Gurukul Residential schools across the State, he informed.

“Take necessary steps for organising Civil Services Day on April21. Upload basic data for GAD dash board. Focus on Gram Swaraj Abhiyan and organise various programmes as per the guidelines issued by the Central government. Special officers from Centre will inspect the implementation of the scheme in various villages,” he said.

The CS ordered the collectors to prepare an action plan for the implementation of Haritha Haram in 2018 along with taking steps for protecting the saplings from the severe heat conditions that were planted last year.

District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed, Assistant Collector Praveenya, District Revenue Officer Ayesha Masrath Khanam, District Forest Officer Srinivas and DRDA Venkateshwar Rao were present in the video conference.
