Salt into the wound
Even though the authorities and ruling party leaders are making tall claims about the achievements of the four-year-old Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government, at the ground level, things do not seem to be all spic and span. Even as the southwest monsoon is intensifying by the day, wreaking havoc in towns and villages across the State, officials seems to be in deep slumber.
Inmates in the Hostel for Disabled Girls at Adalat in Hanamkonda are subjected to untold hardships as the road right in front of the hostel has turned into a marshland due to poor maintenance following heavy downpour for the past one week. The children, already suffering from various physical deformities, are finding it difficult to move on the road as it is filled with sticky mud and dirty water.
They have to struggle a lot while going to and coming back from schools. We request the district authority to respond immediately and start the construction of a new road in front of disability hostel without late.
