Depression is a sign of an unhealthy life. Most of us neglect the smallest things happening in our lives which can slowly lead a way to depression without our notice and spoil a healthy and happy life. Here are few usual signs that indicate that a person is going through depression.
DEEP SADNESS: Being sad is an emotion expressed when a person is hurt or unhappy, this is normal in every person, but then being sad frequently can put a person into depression. With deep sadness comes sobbing, hopelessness and feeling of loneliness. It is ok to be sad sometimes but then do not let sadness rule your life, this will effect the way you think.
SLEEP DISORDERS: Sleep disorders are most commonly found for the people who are into depression; this is because of the increase in the anxiety levels which is mostly accompanied by depression. It is common for a person to have insomnia but it is not ok for a person to have hypersomnia which is the opposite of insomnia. The person who is affected with hypersomnia find difficult to stay awake during the day time and sleeps excessive during the night time.
NEGATIVE THOUGHTS: I hate myself, I am good for nothing, I am a failure etc… the negative thoughts that come up are accompanied by depression. Those who are depressed lose belief in themselves and the people around. This kind of negative thoughts can rule a person’s mind very easily if he/she is not strong mentally.
LOW SELF ESTEEM: Low self esteem generates anxiety, fear and depression. People who consider themselves less than the people around either physically of intellectually are known as low self esteemed people. This kind of behaviour is found mostly in obese and underweight people. This is a sign that can make you weak mentally.
