Mumbai-based Shraddha Patil has over 13 years of experience in sales and marketing. After working for 10 years in this field, she started mentoring start-ups under her initiative ‘Mentorpreneurs’. She has mentored many start-ups. She has been invited as a jury and speaker at various leading start-up events across India. Along the way she found her interest in ‘Spoina’, which she took over in 2018. Currently Shraddha is handling ‘Spoina’ along with Sucheta Singh, who is founder.
They have been scaling steadily and have managed to maintain an all-woman team, which is a major need in start-up ecosystem today. ‘Spoina’ is an influencer management platform, Shraddha Patil says, “We help brands design innovative influencer marketing strategies with help of authentic influencers, which suit their brand image and have followers as per brands target audience. We have 5000 influencers in food, lifestyle, fashion, fitness, travel. We have a team of experienced marketers and leading influencers. It's an all women team.”
“Influencer marketing is taking help of influential people who have genuine followers, quality content to promote your brand but it is very challenging task as ‘Spoina’ is a start-up and bootstrapped some challenges were finding the right team, convincing brands to work with us, budget allocations etc.,” informs Shraddha. Every start-up and every entrepreneur has at some point struggled with cracking their marketing and sales strategy.
How can we reach ‘Spoina’? “By just mailing us their requirements with details like products they want to promote, number of influencers, following of influencers and their budget,” shares Shraddha. On hiring women team she says, “I always talk about hiring women and encouraging them. So, thought let's walk the talk and try it for myself.” How is it working with all women team? “Women are very good at their work. They are honest, passionate about work, trust worthy and reliable. But sometimes it's difficult to handle as there is issue of priorities,” shares Shraddha.
