VJIM student bags gold medal
Hyderabad: K Sowjanya, Vignan Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM), Hyderabad, bagged the gold medal in Hyderabad Business Schools Summer Internship Project Contest-2017 at an awards function conducted by The Hyderabad chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI). PrateshYadav and Tabriz Mohta from NMIMS and SIBM respectively bagged the silver and bronze medals.
The contest is part of IMCI initiative to build a strong partnership between the industry and academia. Nominations were sought for the best summer projects from all leading business schools in Hyderabad. The reports were evaluated on certain key parameters and the best submissions shortlisted from the institutes: This contest tested the MBA students’ ability to understand and analyse business problems, provide recommendations and articulate effectively.
Sanjay Bobde, Vice-President, National Institute of Smart Governance (NISG) said there is need for management education to focus on systematic solutions for the challenges of skill development, opportunities in rural economy and use of technology for development. He congratulated the winners. VijayaSaradhi, IMCI chairman, Prof. Dr. Aryasri, honorary secretary, thanked the business schools, students and the industry for their support to the IMCI initiative.
