Programme on ‘Big Data Analytics & Deep Learning’ at MJCET
Hyderabad: Computer Science and Engineering department of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology (MJCET) is organizing a six-day faculty development programme on “Big Data Analytics & Deep Learning” commenced on Thursday. More than 100 participants from academia & industry from various places across India including J & K attended the event.The inaugural function was presided over by Janab Khan Lateef Mohammed Khan Sahab, Chairman, Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society.
Janab Zafar Javeed, honorary secretary, Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society addressed participants & faculty advising them to continuously improve technical skills through participating in these faculty development programmes.
P Bala Prasad, Technical Head, Tata Consultancy Services was the chief guest who enlightened the participants about the emerging trends in Big Data Analytics and bridging the gap between industry and academia, and Mohan Raidu, Chairman, Computer Society of India was the guest of honour who addressed the importance of CSI.
During the six-day programme, speakers from Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Qualcomm, IBM, General Electric, IDRBT, AAIC Technologies, Skyees Technologies, and Hyderabad Central University (HCU) will be training the participants in both theory and hand-on lab sessions in the emerging field of Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning through concepts of Machine Learning Using Python, Tensorflow, Keras, and IBM Watson.
Later, Janab Khan Lateef Mohammed Khan Sahab, Chairman, SUES handed over the mementos to Chief Guest and guest of honour. Dr. Shabeer Ahmed, professor CSED, proposed vote of thanks. Programme convener Dr. Ahmed Abdul Moiz Qyser (Professor & Head – CSE), coordinator Dr. Uma Dulhare (Professor – CSE) Maniza Hijab (Associate Professor – CSE) is the co-cordinator of the programme.
