METCON concludes at Shadan

Hyderabad: Association of Medical Education (ANA) & Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences organised a three-day eighth annual conference on Medical Education & Technology (METCON – 2018) concluded at Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences here on Sunday.

Over 500 delegates attended the conference. The aim of the programme is to update latest teaching techniques, methods and make medical students on par with world standards. Dr. PR Challam - President ANA (Association of Medical Education) said the conference aims to update various new technology methods like E-learning-simulations in the medical teaching faculty.

Dr. Dinesh Raj Mathur- Dean- Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences said “we are delighted to host this mega conference at our Institution. METCON enables the faculty of our institutions & other medical colleges to upgrade them with latest medical teaching methods using technology and other methods. The conference also included workshops, panel discussions & sessions on the changing trends in medical scenario in India. The conference witnessed the presence of many renowned persons from the field of medical education.
