OUP organises workshop

Hyderabad:  Oxford University Press (OUP), the world’s largest university press organised a workshop for the new edition of Nelson English at the Golkonda Hotel here on Thursday. 

The workshop was attended by 49 teachers from 22 different schools. The activity based interactive workshop was led by expert trainer Heather French and focused on key strategies of teaching Grammar, Comprehension, Spelling and Writing to learners in primary school.

The workshop introduced teachers to latest interactive methodologies for making English learning more fun and engaging for children and emphasised on how learning English could be an even more delightful experience for students if teachers understood the thoughts of children and made them overcome their problems which they face on day-to-day basis. Heather stressed on the need for teachers to continuously introduce new methodologies in teaching.
