Ashoka University to host UN Asia consultation

New Delhi: Ashoka University’s Genpact Centre for Women’s Leadership will host the UN Asia Consultation: The Gender Lens to the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.  It is being organised by the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights (UNWG) and supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Asia-Pacific and UN Women.

The two-day consultation will begin on February 20 at its campus in Sonepat. The consultation will bring together 150+ delegates from across 34 countries including business leaders, senior leadership from the United Nations, women’s rights advocates, civil society leaders, and students, teachers and staff at Ashoka University.
